Overview
The Tableau Developer will join a dynamic logistics and transportation organization on an interim basis, focused on enhancing data-driven decision-making and operational analytics. Collaborating closely with stakeholders across the business, this role will involve developing impactful Tableau dashboards and reports to support efficiency and performance improvements. Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Tableau dashboards, operational reports, and performance scorecards for stakeholders across the business.
- Deliver analysis on fleet utilization, operational efficiency, and resource performance to support data-driven decision-making.
- Assess warehouse and transportation operations, identifying opportunities to improve visibility and performance.
- Support commercial analysis around pricing, profitability, revenue attribution, and customer contract performance.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across multiple business systems and reporting outputs.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Logistics teams to provide actionable insights and deliver lasting reporting improvements.
Requirements
- Strong experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions in Tableau.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience in handling large, complex datasets.
- Strong Excel capabilities for analysis, reporting, and data validation.
- Experience in building operational reporting, KPIs, scorecards, and business performance dashboards.
- Proven ability to cleanse, validate, and manage data to maintain reporting accuracy.
- Comfortable presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Experience within logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related operational environments.
- Familiarity with Python, NetSuite, or similar technologies is beneficial.
