Overview
The Azure Technical Architect will play a critical role in a dynamic digital transformation consultancy, focusing on public sector programmes. This fully remote position requires the architect to own the end-to-end Azure architecture, collaborating with engineering teams and engaging with senior stakeholders to ensure scalable, resilient solutions that meet security and compliance requirements. The role emphasizes leadership and influence in shaping outcomes beyond just high-level consulting.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Azure architecture across live programmes.
- Shape cloud strategy, landing zones and platform architecture to meet public sector security and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure deliverable and properly built designs.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to translate complex requirements into effective solutions.
- Drive best practices across governance, DevOps, automation, and infrastructure as code.
- Address real delivery challenges by providing actionable solutions.

- Experience with Azure architecture, particularly in public sector environments.

- Experience with DevOps practices, automation, and infrastructure as code.
