Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a major transformation programme in the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will work closely with various stakeholders and utilize their technical expertise to translate complex business requirements into functional outcomes. This role involves active engagement with clients and may require travel to meet with teams in London and Birmingham on a bi-weekly basis.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional specifications.
  • Interrogate and analyze data using SQL as necessary.
  • Support the design and implementation of data governance frameworks.
  • Engage with clients in a consultative capacity to ensure project success.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business units.
  • Contribute to data modeling and understanding of data semantics.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the telecommunications sector.
  • Strong understanding of data governance concepts and data modeling.
  • Proficient in SQL for data analysis and interrogation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder engagements effectively.
  • Experience in a consultative or advisory role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid working environment and travel as needed.
