Overview
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join a dynamic team within a Digital Transformation and Cyber Security Consultancy. The role focuses on supporting large-scale projects for both government and private sectors, where you will work closely with stakeholders to define and document business needs, requirements, and processes. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in business analysis techniques to contribute to service design aligned with user-centered practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define needs, risks, and requirements through user stories and engagement activities.
- Conduct system and data analysis to investigate and model existing systems, data flows, and integrations.
- Translate high-level user stories into clear technical specifications suitable for developers and testers.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team.
- Map complex technical processes, dependencies, and rules logic.
- Support the development team by clarifying requirements during sprints and assisting with system integration testing.
- Document complex business and systems requirements or user stories.
- Identify areas for improvement and design enhanced workflows and processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong grasp of business analysis concepts.
- Skilled in translating strategy and policy into operational and technical requirements.
- Expertise in business analysis methodologies including scoping, user stories, and process mapping.
- Experience in system design, procurement, and implementation support.
- Solid understanding of public sector compliance issues such as data protection and equality duties.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity for diverse audiences.
- Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed process flows using common software applications.
- Ability to produce high-quality documentation including artefacts, wireframes, and user stories.
