Overview
The Technical Lead/Architect will engage in a 3-month contract focusing on backend architecture and development primarily using C#/.NET. This role involves assuming technical leadership responsibilities, coordinating with internal and external teams, and ensuring adherence to architectural best practices while working predominantly remotely with some on-site meetings in London as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable and maintainable backend solutions using C#/.NET.
- Define API contracts, domain models, and error handling frameworks.
- Collaborate with development teams to uphold architectural best practices.
- Act as the Technical Lead, providing architectural guidance and oversight.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and sprint reviews.
- Identify and remove blockers to ensure successful sprint execution.
- Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation throughout the project.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with C#/.NET and backend architecture.
- Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Experience in payments platforms or payment terminal integrations.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation including API specifications.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
