Overview
The Technical Lead / Lead Technical Consultant will collaborate with an early-stage HealthTech start-up to drive the development of a digital health platform. The role focuses on providing fractional consultancy in digital health and Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), engaging with various stakeholders to ensure compliance, technical documentation, and system architecture. Working remotely within the UK, the contractor will lead strategic initiatives to support the growth of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for the development of digital health platforms.
- Oversee the Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) lifecycle management.
- Design and implement secure cloud architecture and cybersecurity measures.
- Ensure verification, validation, and creation of technical documentation.
- Lead API design and enhance interoperability, particularly with FHIR standards.
- Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, and non-technical stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Support the strategic growth of the organization through innovative technological solutions.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in digital health and Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
- Proven track record in leading technical teams and projects.
- Strong understanding of secure cloud architecture and cybersecurity practices.
- Expertise in verification, validation, and technical documentation requirements.
- Experience in API design and interoperability standards, especially FHIR.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholder groups.
