Overview
The Technical Programme Manager will play a pivotal role in the transformation of a fast-growing challenger bank, reporting directly to the CTO. This position focuses on the delivery of technology across various operational areas, successfully integrating new core banking capabilities as the organization evolves into a full-service retail bank. The ideal candidate will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, effectively balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of banking technology platforms across various sectors including FX, loans, and credit cards.
- Manage multiple technology and data integration workstreams, ensuring seamless collaboration across systems.
- Oversee the selection and implementation of both outsourced and in-house technology solutions.
- Define and execute the technology operating model and roadmap in partnership with senior leadership.
- Drive systems integration and data management to enhance customer onboarding and compliance processes.
- Establish programme governance and delivery tracking mechanisms across the organization.
- Support the development of shared services and scalable back-office capabilities to facilitate growth.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in programme or delivery management within retail or challenger banking environments.
- Proven track record in scaling banking technology platforms from early-stage to operational maturity.
- Strong knowledge of core banking systems, including loans, credit cards, and customer onboarding processes.
- Experience with systems integration across various operational systems, including CRM and KYC/AML.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, unstructured environments, implementing effective processes and controls.
- Demonstrated experience in managing third-party vendors and outsourced systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, engaging effectively at all organizational levels.
