Overview
The Technical Project Manager will play a pivotal role in new product development, ensuring complex schedules are maintained from concept through to mass production. This hybrid position involves collaboration with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams to drive schedules and milestones forward. Responsibilities
- Own and drive the end-to-end product development schedule across assigned categories.
- Manage tooling timelines, build dates, and schedule changes with manufacturing partners.
- Align engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure milestone achievement.
- Run programme meetings, set agendas, and capture actionable items to completion.
- Track progress and surface risks early, adapting to changes as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, Product Manager, or Programme Manager in a physical product business.
- Demonstrable track record of taking products into mass production in a consumer goods environment.
- Experience working with Chinese manufacturing partners on tooling schedules and production builds.
- Strong cross-functional coordination skills across engineering, marketing, and commercial teams.
- Technical background sufficient to engage with engineers and industrial designers.
