We are seeking a Technical Project Manager/Senior Business Analyst to join a remote team focusing on projects within the insurance sector. The contractor will collaborate closely with a software development team to enhance product offerings, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical execution, while managing stakeholder relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with a software development team to drive multiple projects forward.
  • Gather requirements and create detailed tickets to guide the development process.
  • Translate complex business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Utilize modern project management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira to track progress.
  • Ensure alignment on project objectives among stakeholders across business functions.
  • Manage multiple priorities and adapt project scopes in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Business Analyst, particularly in a technical context.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in writing user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in project management tools, notably Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Familiarity with APIs and cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Experience in regulated or data-sensitive industries, ideally within insurance or legal tech.
