Overview
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager/Senior Business Analyst to join a remote team focusing on projects within the insurance sector. The contractor will collaborate closely with a software development team to enhance product offerings, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical execution, while managing stakeholder relationships effectively.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with a software development team to drive multiple projects forward.
- Gather requirements and create detailed tickets to guide the development process.
- Translate complex business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Utilize modern project management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira to track progress.
- Ensure alignment on project objectives among stakeholders across business functions.
- Manage multiple priorities and adapt project scopes in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Business Analyst, particularly in a technical context.
- Strong understanding of business processes and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in writing user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in project management tools, notably Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Familiarity with APIs and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Experience in regulated or data-sensitive industries, ideally within insurance or legal tech.
