Overview

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join a leading insurance company on a contract basis. The successful contractor will work on large-scale transformation initiatives, focusing on delivering complex technical projects across cloud, infrastructure, and migration environments. You will lead cross-functional teams while ensuring project governance and stakeholder communication are maintained in a hybrid work setup.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end projects within a structured or Agile-led environment.
  • Manage cross-functional delivery teams, technical SMEs, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure project governance is adhered to, maintaining clear RAID, status reporting, and milestone tracking.
  • Oversee planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Drive delivery outcomes in a highly regulated, enterprise environment.
  • Lead technical change initiatives including cloud migration and infrastructure upgrades.

Requirements

  • Proven Project Management experience within insurance or financial services.
  • Strong background in delivering technical or infrastructure-based change projects.
  • Experience managing cloud migration programmes (Azure, AWS).
  • Exposure to on-prem to cloud transitions and/or data centre consolidation projects.
  • Ability to work in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
