Overview
As a Test Lead for a large-scale finance transformation programme, you will oversee the testing activities across core finance workstreams and engage with various stakeholders. This contract position requires you to work in a hybrid setting, attending the office twice a week to facilitate collaboration and ensure effective stakeholder management. Your primary focus will be on leading testing efforts, including system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate financial processes within a complex system landscape.
Responsibilities
- Lead testing initiatives across financing functionalities including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and more.
- Coordinate and execute system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders and system integrators.
- Drive defect triage, prioritization, and resolution processes.
- Oversee the creation, review, and quality assurance of test scripts.
- Support test environments preparation, data readiness, and alignment for product releases.
- Produce and maintain test reporting, dashboards, and governance updates.
- Validate end-to-end financial scenarios including journals, trial balance, and VAT/tax reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Test Lead, preferably in finance transformation projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in coordinating SIT and UAT processes.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms, such as D365, is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of 3rd party integrations and data migration processes.
- Understanding of role-based security and workflows in testing contexts.
- Experience in producing test reports and dashboards for governance purposes.
