Overview
We are seeking a skilled Test Manager to oversee the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) phases for a significant data and reporting transformation project. The successful candidate will lead efforts to implement a new data reporting platform, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality analytics and insights.
Responsibilities
- Lead the UAT/BAT phases for a major data platform programme.
- Manage and coordinate business-led user acceptance testing with non-technical users.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for test management including defect tracking and reporting.
- Plan and manage multiple testing cycles with overlapping timelines.
- Oversee the defect lifecycle from logging to closure.
- Produce clear status reports for senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Test Manager within the data, analytics, or business intelligence sectors.
- Strong knowledge of managing UAT processes, specifically with non-technical users.
- Extensive experience with Azure DevOps for managing test plans and defect tracking.
- Solid understanding of data platform architectures and data flow processes.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with attention to detail.
