Overview
The Third Line Engineer will support a leading retail brand's IT function, focusing on enhancing and stabilizing a Microsoft-based environment. This hands-on role involves collaboration with a team of experienced IT professionals to manage complex technical issues across various technologies, including infrastructure, cloud, and security. The position is designed for an individual who can take independent responsibility for projects and improvements within the IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Provide 3rd line support for complex technical issues.
- Manage Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
- Support Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
- Lead patching, vulnerability management, and security improvements.
- Manage backup and disaster recovery processes.
- Work with networking, firewalls, and email security platforms.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvement projects.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced IT professionals.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a 3rd Line Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or Senior IT Support role.
- Strong Microsoft 365 and Windows experience.
- Azure administration experience.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting medium to large-sized organisations.
- Strong networking and infrastructure knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues.
