Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to contribute to a critical business transformation project that encompasses Service Design, Target Operating Model (TOM), and Organisational Design. The role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders to create business cases and develop a strategic roadmap for transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will work in a customer-centric environment, driving alignment between customer experience, organisational strategy, and operational efficiency in a remote-first setting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a comprehensive business case for executive approval.
  • Work with senior stakeholders to define the future Target Operating Model (TOM).
  • Coordinate Service Design and Organisational Design activities into a unified transformation roadmap.
  • Map the current operating model, identify improvement opportunities, and define the desired future state.
  • Produce transformation outputs, including delivery roadmaps, governance documentation, and executive-level reports.
  • Manage programme governance, planning, RAID logs, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
  • Coordinate with business, operational, and HR stakeholders throughout the programme.
  • Support the identification of costs, benefits, investment requirements, and expected business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in business transformation programmes.
  • Expertise in developing Target Operating Models (TOM).
  • Strong background in Service Design and Organisational Design.
  • Experience in business case development and engaging executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable success in cross-functional programme delivery involving operational, business, and HR teams.
  • Familiarity with Housing Associations, Social Housing, or customer service organisation redesign in regulated environments (e.g., Local Government, NHS, Utilities).
  • Ability to facilitate workshops and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working remotely with occasional travel requirements.
