Overview

The Transformation Project Manager will lead the implementation phase of a finance transformation programme, focusing on delivering tangible improvements in business processes and systems. Working in a hybrid capacity, the contractor will coordinate multiple stakeholders and workstreams while driving the adoption of necessary changes within the organization. This role is suited for proactive individuals who thrive in ambiguous environments and are capable of blending hands-on execution with strategic oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of a 9-month transformation programme.
  • Drive implementation of ERP improvements, finance process optimisation, and business change initiatives.
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Establish appropriate governance, reporting, and risk management frameworks.
  • Lead change management activities for successful adoption of new processes.
  • Remove blockers and maintain momentum across the programme.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering transformation programmes in complex or ambiguous environments.
  • Finance background (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent experience) preferred.
  • Experience across finance processes, including AP, AR, Billing, GL, Reporting, FP&A, and Finance Systems.
  • Strong Agile, change management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience delivering ERP or finance transformation initiatives.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands-on delivery.
