Overview
We are seeking a skilled UI Designer to join a dynamic digital agency for an initial 6-month contract. In this role, you will collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to craft user-centered experiences and establish scalable design systems for digital products. Your passion for visual excellence and innovative design will be pivotal in translating complex challenges into intuitive solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the visual language, patterns, and experience principles across a suite of digital products.
- Create high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and user experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and accessible.
- Lead design discovery, ideation workshops, and collaborative sessions with stakeholders.
- Build and evolve a scalable design system, including reusable components, patterns, and documentation.
- Define and champion standards for design quality, usability, consistency, and accessibility.
- Work closely with engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate complex challenges into compelling user experiences.
- Champion user-centered design and contribute to research, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Product Designer, Experience Designer, or UX/UI Designer delivering complex digital products.
- Experience working within a design agency, consultancy, digital product studio, or similar fast-paced design-led environment.
- A portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft and design systems expertise.
- Experience building and scaling design systems and component libraries.
- Strong proficiency with modern design, prototyping, and collaboration tools.
- Excellent understanding of accessibility, usability, responsive design, and design principles.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and shape solutions from concept through to delivery.
