Overview
We are seeking a Senior UX Designer for a 10-month contract on a government health service project focused on designing inclusive and accessible digital services. The successful candidate will collaborate within an agile multidisciplinary team that includes researchers, product managers, and developers to create user-centered designs that address the needs of public health professionals and the community at large.
Responsibilities
- Design user-centered experiences for digital health services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand user needs.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback.
- Advocate for accessibility within design processes.
- Present concepts and designs to stakeholders and team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading UX design on health, care, or government digital services.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design and information architecture.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Miro, or Adobe XD.
- In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA).
- Experience conducting usability testing and user research.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation.
