User Researcher

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and self-starting User Researcher with SC Clearance to join our team on a high-impact project focused on enhancing enterprise capabilities within a complex Defence environment. In collaboration with a Business Analyst and an Interaction Designer, you will conduct user research to identify and define user needs, ensuring that insights translate into actionable design recommendations. The role is essential for fostering strong relationships with a varied user base, particularly in a secure setting where access is limited.

• Ensure alignment with Defence Digital and broader data strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a User Researcher with a solid track record.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity in a secure environment.
• SC Clearance is required for this role.
• Experience within the MOD or with the Royal Navy is preferred.
• Familiarity with Defence procurement and operational landscapes is a plus.
