Overview
We are seeking a User Researcher for a 3-6 month contract on a public-sector project, focusing on user-centered discovery efforts. The ideal candidate will work closely with multi-functional agile teams, collaborating with Product Managers and Interaction Designers while conducting and synthesizing user research. This role is remote-first, with occasional workshops held in London, and is set to commence on September 1st.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct user research activities using various methodologies.
- Synthesize results from user research to inform design and product decisions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Interaction Designers within agile teams.
- Gather and analyze feedback from multiple sources including surveys and user testing.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand needs and expectations.
- Conduct workshops and presentations to share research findings.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a User Researcher within government or public sector projects.
- Familiarity with multi-functional agile team dynamics.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience planning and conducting a variety of user research methods.
- Ability to analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative feedback.
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse stakeholder groups.
