The Web Insight Analyst role is crucial in transforming how a growing retail-focused organization utilizes data. You will collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to elevate the analytics capabilities of the business, transitioning from reactive reporting to proactive insights that guide decision-making in sales and marketing. Responsibilities

  • Analyse sales and marketing performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for optimisation.
  • Develop a structured approach to monitoring performance, including flagging unusual patterns in product sales.
  • Investigate root causes of performance changes across traffic, conversion, and acquisition channels.
  • Translate data findings into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Support the move from manual reporting towards more automated analytics workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve tracking, reporting processes, and data usage.

Requirements

  • Strong experience working with GA4, SQL, Power BI, and BigQuery.
  • Ability to interrogate data and uncover underlying drivers of performance.
  • Comfortable communicating insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Curious, proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Experience working within retail or small business environments.
  • Ability to balance technical analysis with storytelling and stakeholder engagement.
