Overview
The Web Insight Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing data-driven decision-making within a growing retail-focused organization. This position involves collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to analyze sales and marketing performance data, moving the business towards automated, actionable insights. The contractor will focus on identifying trends and anomalies in data, developing monitoring approaches, and supporting the evolution of analytics capabilities in the team.
Responsibilities
- Analyze sales and marketing performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for optimization.
- Develop a structured approach to monitoring performance, including flagging unusual patterns in product sales.
- Investigate root causes of performance changes across traffic, conversion, and acquisition channels.
- Translate data findings into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Support the transition from manual reporting to automated analytics workflows.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve tracking, reporting processes, and data usage.
Requirements
- Strong experience working with GA4, SQL, Power BI, and BigQuery.
- Ability to interrogate data and uncover underlying drivers of performance.
- Comfortable communicating insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Curious, proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
- Experience working within retail or small business environments.
