Overview
We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to take ownership of a corporate website for a rapidly growing SaaS business on an initial 3-month contract. This role will focus on performance optimization, SEO, user experience, and integrations, working closely with marketing and product teams to enhance lead generation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Own the ongoing development, maintenance, and optimization of the company's WordPress website.
- Implement enhancements and new functionality to improve user experience and conversion rates.
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and templates as required.
- Write custom WordPress code and troubleshoot technical issues across the platform.
- Optimize website performance, speed, accessibility, and security.
- Manage and enhance integrations with platforms such as HubSpot, Google Ads, and Google Analytics.
- Ensure best practice implementation of SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
- Monitor website health and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Extensive experience developing and managing enterprise-level or corporate WordPress websites.
- Expert-level knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and custom development.
- Strong front-end development skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Proven experience delivering technical SEO improvements and optimization projects.
- Understanding of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and modern search best practices.
- Experience integrating WordPress with HubSpot, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and marketing automation tools.
- Experience working with Cloudflare and website security best practices.
- Knowledge of cookie management platforms and GDPR compliance.
