Overview
We are seeking an experienced Workday Data Architect to support a major HR transformation program aimed at establishing Workday as the single source of truth for HR master data across approximately 40 countries. This hybrid role will involve collaboration with HR, Finance, and technology teams to enhance the quality and reliability of HR data while leading data quality initiatives and governance structures. The contractor will play a key role in data reconciliation, root cause analysis, and implementing data quality frameworks to ensure effective data management and compliance across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead HR master data reconciliation efforts and identify data inconsistencies across various systems.
- Implement data quality frameworks, governance structures, and reporting capabilities.
- Conduct root cause analysis to address recurring HR data issues and define corrective actions.
- Design and deliver Workday reports and dashboards for data quality assessment.
- Engage with stakeholders to translate audit findings into actionable remediation plans.
- Build and maintain structured issue logs and remediation backlogs for data quality issues.
- Gather and translate business requirements into clear specifications for Workday reporting.
- Ensure compliance with governance and audit standards in all reporting and data definitions.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday HCM data structures, reporting, and HR master data management.
- Extensive experience in analyzing HR master data across various systems to identify inconsistencies.
- Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and provide sustainable solutions for data issues.
- Experience in defining and implementing data quality rules and governance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of data governance and stewardship in multi-country environments.
- Ability to design and implement reporting solutions for data quality and audit tracking.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, especially with non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with compliance and audit standards relevant to HR data management.
