Overview
The Workday Financials Lead for Banking & Settlements will oversee the delivery of a significant Workday Financials project, specifically focusing on Banking and Settlements. The contractor will collaborate with finance teams, leading functional design, configuration, and documentation while managing testing phases and ensuring alignment with integration efforts. This role offers the opportunity to work with a respected consulting partner on a high-impact program.
Responsibilities
- Lead the functional design, configuration, and documentation for Banking & Settlements.
- Facilitate client workshops covering finance processes (RTR, OTC, PTP).
- Deliver configuration for Banking & Settlements.
- Manage testing cycles and defect resolution.
- Take ownership of change requests related to the project.
- Align with integrations for banking interfaces.
- Provide support during deployment and go-live phases.
Requirements
- Hold an active Workday Banking & Settlements Certification.
- Possess strong experience in Workday Financials.
- Demonstrate hands-on configuration skills in Banking & Settlements.
- Ability to independently lead a functional workstream.
- Have a consulting background with a Workday partner or major consultancy.
- Wider Workday Finance certifications and exposure to Financials integrations are a plus.
- Experience with multi-entity or global deployments is beneficial.
