Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Consultant to support the implementation of Workday Human Capital Management modules over a 9-month contract. The consultant will collaborate closely with the internal People team and various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery and adoption of Workday HCM functionality, commencing in November 2025. This role focuses on providing subject matter expertise throughout the implementation lifecycle and aligning with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with People and IT teams to define requirements and implementation plans.
  • Configure and deploy Workday HCM modules aligned with project phases.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Support testing, training, knowledge transfer, and change management activities.
  • Lead workshops to gather business and technical requirements from relevant stakeholders.
  • Deliver comprehensive implementation plans including timelines and resource allocation.
  • Finalize cutover strategy and ensure readiness for go-live activities.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and document lessons learned for future reference.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Workday HCM implementation experience.
  • Workday HCM Core certification is desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in configuring and deploying Workday modules such as Core HCM, Talent, and Compensation.
  • Proficiency in Workday business process configuration, security setup, reporting, and data migration.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, compliance, and organizational structures.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, and Finance.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage timelines, risks, and dependencies independently.
