Overview
We are seeking an experienced Workday Process Lead for a 6-month contract position, focused on optimising Workday processes to support a project-based operating model within the professional services sector. The contractor will collaborate with various teams, including HR and Finance, to enhance resource planning and HR operations, ensuring alignment with the business's commercial needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the review, design, and optimisation of Workday processes across HR workflows.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Resource Management, and Operations teams to align processes with project-led business models.
- Analyse current processes related to resource allocation and project staffing, identifying inefficiencies.
- Design future-state processes to enhance operational efficiency and reporting capabilities.
- Ensure accurate tracking of headcount, utilisation, capacity, and workforce planning through Workday.
- Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders to define requirements and align on process improvements.
- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and Workday functional/technical teams.
- Support process documentation, governance, and adoption of best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Workday Process Lead, Functional Lead, or Senior Business Analyst within Workday environments.
- Strong understanding of Workday in professional services or project-based organisations.
- Experience in aligning Workday processes to resource planning and project delivery models.
- Deep knowledge of Workday HCM, with exposure to modules such as Core HCM and Recruitment.
- Skilled in process mapping (As-Is / To-Be) and driving measurable improvements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with senior leaders in HR and Finance.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable Workday solutions.
- Experience working within transformation or optimisation programmes.
