Overview
We are seeking a skilled Workday Project Manager to spearhead the comprehensive implementation of a Workday transformation programme, focusing on HCM and Financials. This remote position will involve leading all phases of the project lifecycle and collaborating closely with various stakeholders, implementation partners, and business teams to ensure successful delivery. The role demands a blend of leadership in project management, meticulous execution, and effective communication throughout the engagement, which will last for six months.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a Workday HCM and Financials implementation programme.
- Manage project governance, planning, RAID logs, reporting, and executive stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate internal business teams, Workday functional leads, systems integrators, and third-party vendors.
- Drive programme execution across discovery, design, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, deployment, and hypercare phases.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and Workday solution delivery.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, resources, dependencies, and critical path activities.
- Facilitate steering committees and senior stakeholder forums.
- Oversee change management, training, and business readiness activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering full-cycle Workday implementations.
- Demonstrable end-to-end deployment experience across both Workday HCM and Workday Financials.
- Experience managing large-scale enterprise transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of Workday implementation methodologies and governance frameworks.
- Track record of managing multiple stakeholders across business, technology, and vendor organisations.
- Experience leading testing, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience operating within complex, matrixed environments.
