Overview
The Workday Test Lead will play a critical role in a significant global transformation programme, focusing on the implementation of Workday Financials and Workday HCM. This position involves leading the testing strategy and execution for the entire programme, ensuring successful validation of various integrations and business processes. The Test Lead will collaborate with senior stakeholders and implementation partners to establish robust testing governance and reporting frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the overall testing strategy and operating model.
- Lead all phases of testing including System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and more.
- Build and manage integrated test plans across multiple workstreams.
- Coordinate testing activities across Finance, HR, Payroll, Procurement, and Shared Services functions.
- Manage relationships with implementation partners and offshore testing teams.
- Establish test governance and quality assurance frameworks.
- Drive business engagement and stakeholder readiness.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading testing for Workday Financials implementations.
- Extensive knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, and Financial Reporting.
- Experience in testing Workday HCM and Financial integrations.
- Background in Greenfield ERP transformation programmes.
- Proven expertise in end-to-end business process testing.
- Strong stakeholder management skills at senior leadership levels (Director, VP, C-suite).
