Overview
We are seeking a Backend Engineer with expertise in Kotlin to join a healthtech start-up committed to transforming the healthcare system. The successful contractor will work remotely to develop backend solutions and integrate APIs, contributing to a project that optimizes administrative tasks for healthcare professionals. This is a three-month rolling contract with a focus on innovative technology solutions in healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend systems using Kotlin and related technologies.
- Integrate APIs and third-party platforms to enhance system functionality.
- Design and implement software architecture to support project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications.
- Ensure high code quality and maintainability throughout the development process.

Requirements
- Proven experience in backend development using Kotlin.
- Strong understanding of API integration and design (REST and GraphQL).
- Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and asynchronous programming.
- Background in architecture design and software development best practices.

- Willingness to travel to the UK or Germany if necessary.
