Overview
The Business Intelligence Developer role is a senior position within a scaling fintech company, focused on enhancing MiFID reporting processes. The contractor will work to translate complex backend logic into a user-friendly Qlik reporting layer, collaborating closely with stakeholders in trading, compliance, and technology to improve data visibility and usage across the business.
Responsibilities
- Rebuild MiFID transaction reporting in Qlik.
- Translate complex stored procedure logic into BI outputs.
- Define data models and reporting structures.
- Partner with trading, compliance, and tech stakeholders.
- Enhance how regulatory data is consumed across the business.
Requirements
- Experience in fintech or banking environments.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and stored procedures.
- Expertise in data modeling and using Qlik or similar BI tools.
- Hands-on experience translating backend logic into reporting layers.
- Exposure to MiFID reporting is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across business and technology roles.
