Overview
We are looking for a Freelance BIM Lead / Senior Technical Designer specializing in interior architecture and technical design. In this role, the contractor will spearhead the technical design documentation and BIM workflow, ensuring accuracy and high-quality deliverables in collaboration with the design team and project stakeholders. This position is ideal for an experienced professional who can translate design intent into precise technical documentation while maintaining robust standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Revit/BIM workflow across the project.
- Own, develop, and standardise comprehensive technical design documentation.
- Produce, review, and coordinate detailed CAD/BIM drawings.
- Translate interior design concepts into coordinated, technically robust drawing packages.
- Ensure accurate coordination of technical information across multiple disciplines.
- Maintain consistency, accuracy, and quality across all project documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and align project requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a BIM Lead, Senior Technical Designer, or Technical Architect.
- Strong background in interior architecture or architectural technical design.
- Advanced knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows.
- Experience in producing and coordinating detailed technical drawing packages.
- Established ability to maintain drawing standards and BIM protocols.
- Strong understanding of interior detailing and technical coordination.
- Proficient in interpreting design intent for technical deliverables.
- Confident communication skills for leading workflows and team collaboration.
