Content Designer

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Content Designer to join our dynamic team, focusing on creating user-centered content that enriches the user experience. This role involves working closely with researchers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure the content effectively meets user needs and aligns with business objectives. The Senior Content Designer will be instrumental in driving content strategies and upholding best practices in content design.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, engaging, and accessible content that aligns with user needs and organisational goals.

  • Maintain a consistent tone and voice across various platforms and channels.
  • Ensure all content adheres to the Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and best practices.
  • Create and manage content schedules to align with project timelines.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in content design, with a focus on user-centered approaches.
  • Strong experience with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems and other relevant tools.
