Overview
The Cyber Security Assurance Consultant will play a pivotal role in delivering cyber assurance activities across complex operational technology (OT) and cloud environments. This position involves collaborating with technical teams, architects, and stakeholders to evaluate cyber risk, ensure security controls are effective, and enhance cyber security governance processes within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of cyber assurance activities in OT and cloud environments.
- Conduct assessments of technical controls to evaluate security effectiveness.
- Challenge stakeholders and provide pragmatic cyber security guidance.
- Perform cyber risk assessments and review supplier assurance processes.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of governance and assurance processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF).
- Proficiency in Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus.
- Experience in technical security assurance and cyber risk assessments.
- Knowledge of OT environments and relevant security practices.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, ISO 27005, and NIST frameworks.
- Ability to engage effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
