Overview
The Data Engineer will focus on complex data engineering initiatives for an Asset Management client. Working primarily in an office environment, the contractor will design and implement data engineering solutions, leveraging expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, and other relevant technologies. Collaboration with various teams will be essential to ensure optimal performance and effective data management.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data engineering objectives using SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Analyze and optimize stored procedures and indexing for performance tuning.
- Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions.
- Utilize SSIS, Snowflake, and Azure for data integration and processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support reporting and data analysis.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer.
- Excellent skills in SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Familiarity with SSIS and Snowflake.
- Experience with Azure technologies.
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Lakehouse principles.
- Background in Financial Services is highly desirable.
