Overview
The Data Quality Manager will play a critical role in enhancing the data excellence initiatives of a mid-tier bank, specifically within the Consumer and Corporate Lending sectors. This position involves collaborating closely with the Data Process team to define and implement data quality rules as part of an automated monitoring system. The successful candidate will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure data integrity and compliance throughout the banking operations.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement Data Quality rules for automated monitoring systems.
- Identify data quality issues within process flows.
- Collaborate on Data Governance initiatives.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure adherence to data standards and quality practices.
- Support the development of an AI-driven Data Quality Rules system.
- Review and enhance existing data governance frameworks.
Requirements
- Experience working within a UK bank environment.
- Strong understanding of UK banking data, particularly in Lending.
- Proven background in data governance and data management.
- Broad knowledge of regulatory reporting data requirements.
- Experience with Cloud Data platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with data quality best practices and standards.
