Elasticsearch Consultant

Overview

We are seeking an Elasticsearch Consultant to support a significant migration project in a remote capacity, with very occasional travel to the West Midlands. In this role, you will collaborate with a technology consultancy to deliver large-scale search and data migration programs for government and enterprise clients, focusing on the full data onboarding lifecycle within Elastic SIEM environments. This position offers the possibility of further project involvement or a permanent opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Support the migration of large volumes of data into the Elastic platform.
• Utilize Elasticsearch Query Language to search and transform data.
• Advise on search optimization, pipelines, and performance tuning.
• Participate in customer workshops to deliver technical consultancy.
• Provide technical advice and support for solution implementation.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Elasticsearch and the Elastic Stack.
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch Query Language (ES|QL).
• Familiarity with data pipelines and performance tuning.
• Previous experience in migration or onboarding projects within complex enterprise environments.
