Overview
The Commercial Manager will play a key role in the successful delivery of infrastructure schemes focused on sustainable communities throughout the Yorkshire region. Responsibilities
- Manage cost, value, and risk assessments (CVRs) for ongoing infrastructure projects.
- Oversee subcontract management processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Conduct change management and ensure accurate monthly valuations of work completed.
- Prepare comprehensive commercial reports to support project delivery.
- Lead a small commercial team, providing guidance and support in their roles.
- Collaborate with other divisions and stakeholders to ensure alignment and success of projects.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implementation in commercial operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager in civil engineering, infrastructure, or water sectors.
- Strong expertise in cost management and commercial reporting.
- Experience managing subcontractor relationships and change management processes.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication abilities.
- Full UK driver’s licence is required for site visits and meetings.
- Ability to adapt and grow with a rapidly changing business environment.
