Overview
The IAM Engineer will play a critical role in the deployment and integration of enterprise identity platforms, ensuring that IAM solutions are robust and effectively configured. Working remotely, the contractor will leverage their expertise in ForgeRock and Ping Identity, tackling complex authentication challenges within a fast-paced project environment while collaborating with other engineering teams to deliver effective identity management solutions.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure ForgeRock AM, IDM, DS and/or the Ping Identity suite including PingFederate, PingAccess, and PingOne.
- Build and troubleshoot complex SSO, MFA, and federated workflows using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML.
- Isolate and resolve complex authentication blockers, ensuring clear documentation for internal engineering handover.
- Manage the integration of IAM solutions into existing infrastructure with minimal oversight.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on IAM engineering experience with ForgeRock and/or Ping Identity platforms.
- Ability to deliver production-ready IAM infrastructure independently.
- Deep expertise in LDAP/Directory Services and OAuth/SAML protocols.
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for IAM deployment.
