Overview
As the Interim Finance Transformation Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the finance transformation program for a rapidly expanding business in the live events industry. Collaborating closely with an experienced CFO, you will redesign finance processes, rebuild management reporting, and establish robust financial foundations to support new revenue streams, all while making a significant impact during this 3–6 month contract.
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery of the finance transformation programme.
- Redesign key finance processes across purchase-to-pay and month-end close.
- Rebuild management reporting and create a monthly reporting pack.
- Improve reporting, controls, and efficiency within NetSuite.
- Create robust, documented processes for long-term sustainability.
- Build finance foundations for new revenue streams including licensing and partnerships.
- Act as a trusted partner to the Interim CFO, influencing strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA preferred; ACCA/CIMA considered).
- Proven experience in SME finance transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to build reporting, controls, and finance processes.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite and strong reporting skills.
- Understanding of budgeting and revenue recognition in evolving commercial models.
- Ability to challenge senior stakeholders while remaining practical and delivery-focused.
