Overview
We are seeking a skilled Solution Architect to support a significant digital transformation in corporate communications for a major organization. The contractor will be instrumental in shaping the architecture of a modern employee communications platform, while collaborating closely with business leaders, technology teams, and external partners to enhance employee engagement and communication effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Define solution architecture for corporate communications and employee engagement platforms.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead architecture design workshops with senior stakeholders.
- Produce high level and detailed design documentation.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and security requirements.
- Support platform integration across Microsoft 365, HR systems, and wider business applications.
- Provide technical leadership throughout delivery and implementation phases.
- Manage architectural risks and dependencies with project teams and vendors.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect within large and complex environments.
- Strong experience delivering corporate communications or employee engagement platforms.
- Previous experience with Blink, Workvivo, Staffbase, or similar products is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies and integration patterns.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage at senior leadership level.
- Experience producing architecture artefacts and governance documentation.
- Understanding of security, data privacy, and enterprise integration principles.
