Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI Governance Specialist to assume a critical role within a large, regulated organization on a 3-month contract. This hands-on position involves collaboration with Data, AI, Technology, Risk, and Privacy teams to develop and implement robust governance frameworks for AI and data usage. The successful contractor will engage in ethical decision-making processes and align governance standards locally and globally.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop AI and Data Governance frameworks, policies, and controls.
- Manage the AI inventory, including risk assessments and classification of AI use cases.
- Assess AI risks such as bias, fairness, explainability, privacy, and resilience.
- Conduct AI Governance Forums to support Ethical AI decision-making.
- Manage risks, controls, issues, and remediation activities.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and international teams to align governance standards.
Requirements
- Strong background in Data Governance or Data Management with experience in AI Governance, Responsible AI, or Model Governance.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and embedding governance frameworks in a regulated environment.
- Good understanding of risk, controls, policy, and assurance.
- Experience within financial services, insurance, or similar highly regulated sectors.
