Overview
As the Lead AI Engineer, you will be responsible for spearheading AI initiatives within a prominent Energy and Trading firm, driving innovations that enhance operations across trading, commercial activities, and risk management. You will lead a team of three AI Engineers while collaborating with various stakeholders, including traders and senior leadership, to strategically define and implement AI solutions that fundamentally transform the business and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of AI Engineers to develop and enhance AI strategies across the organization.
- Collaborate with traders and commercial teams to identify and prioritize AI initiatives that optimize operations.
- Define the application of AI in Front Office trading and physical asset optimization.
- Engage with senior leadership to drive commercial transformation using AI technologies.
- Explore innovative AI solutions that improve decision-making and revenue generation.
- Influence the integration of AI in predictive maintenance, risk analysis, and trading signal identification.
- Push for advancements in generative AI and intelligent automation within the business.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an AI Engineer or similar role, preferably in energy trading or similar sectors.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of AI professionals.
- Extensive knowledge of AI technologies, including machine learning and natural language processing.
- Experience in applying AI within trading, asset optimization, and data-driven decision support.
- Proficient understanding of the energy market dynamics and associated data complexities.
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
- Experience with predictive maintenance and risk assessment strategies in a commercial context.
