Overview
The Business Intelligence Developer will play a vital role in enhancing the reporting and data capabilities of a rapidly growing organization through effective use of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. Collaborating with a small data team, this position involves building dashboards, supporting data migration during system transitions, and providing guidance to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Support data migration efforts during the integration of new acquisitions.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and existing BI Developers on data projects.
- Implement data models to facilitate reporting requirements.
- Provide guidance and light training to non-technical stakeholders as needed.
- Utilize SQL and Python for data manipulation and process automation.
- Contribute to enhancing data visualization standards and practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in building reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric as a reporting tool.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying and management.
- Experience with Python for data scripting and automation.
- Ability to create visually compelling data presentations.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
