Overview
The Civil Technician will join a multidisciplinary consultancy specializing in the Data Centre sector, working on drainage, earthworks, and utilities modeling for both UK and overseas projects. This fully remote position offers a competitive hourly rate and involves collaboration with project teams to support the design stages of various civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Support the design stages across a variety of civil engineering projects, including earthworks, drainage, and utilities development.
- Create and develop in-depth specifications and drawings using Civil 3D and Revit.
- Collaborate with project professionals, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project requirements and specifications.
- Review and analyze project specifications and drawings for accuracy and compliance with design standards.
Requirements
- Proficient in using Civil 3D with a strong understanding of civil engineering systems.
- Experience working on complex industrial projects, particularly Data Centres.
- Strong technical drawing abilities and attention to detail with knowledge of BIM/CAD principles and workflows.
- Understanding of civil engineering design standards, as well as relevant industry regulations and legislation.
