Overview
We are looking for experienced Data Architects to join a significant transformation programme, focusing on modernising data capabilities through cloud-first architecture and strategic initiatives. The successful candidates will lead the design and delivery of scalable data platforms for enterprise organisations, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and governance standards in a hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver enterprise-scale data architecture solutions.
- Define target-state data platforms, roadmaps, and architectural standards.
- Develop cloud-first data strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Establish and promote data governance, quality, and best-practice frameworks.
- Support the modernisation and migration of legacy data environments.
- Collaborate with business, technology, and leadership stakeholders.
- Drive architectural decision-making across complex transformation programmes.
- Ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to organisational goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Architect within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles, frameworks, and governance.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Experience designing modern data platforms using Databricks and/or Snowflake.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Track record of delivering complex data transformation initiatives.
- Experience operating within programme and enterprise architecture environments.
- Right to work in the UK is required for this role.
