Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Data Engineer for a contract opportunity focused on designing and delivering a centralized data warehouse for a client. The role involves integrating data from various sources, including Salesforce and ERP systems, to create automated and reliable data pipelines, while collaborating closely with existing resources. This position is crucial for transforming manual reporting processes into an efficient data environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the discovery and architecture phases of the data warehouse project.
- Develop ingestion pipelines, data models, and implement monitoring and security measures.
- Collaborate with client resources to ensure seamless integration with Power BI.
- Document processes and manage the handover of the completed project.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong technical design background.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Fabric Data Factory, and Power BI.
- Expertise in integrating Salesforce, ERP, and other operational platforms.
- Familiarity with SQL and APIs for data extraction and transformation.
