Overview
The Demand Manager will work closely with stakeholders to shape and manage project service demands within a supplier organization. This contract role emphasizes collaboration with various customer stakeholders to prioritize emerging needs, oversee resource allocation, and ensure effective communication and reporting. The position also entails governance responsibilities and capacity planning across multiple teams while engaging directly with business stakeholders to streamline demand management processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in shaping and managing demand for project services within the supplier organization.
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders to prioritize requirements and resource placement.
- Oversee stakeholder management and governance responsibilities during the demand process.
- Engage directly with business stakeholders to facilitate effective demand management.
- Support pipeline and capacity planning efforts across multiple teams.
- Report on demand progress and communicate updates to relevant parties.
- Contribute to the alignment of ITSM processes with project portfolio management.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in demand management and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with project portfolio management methodologies.
- Understanding of ITSM processes and frameworks.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to navigate complex supply chain dynamics and resource allocation.
- Strong communication skills for reporting and stakeholder interactions.
- Experience in capacity planning and governance frameworks.
