Overview
The Data Programme Manager will lead a transformative initiative focused on developing a company-wide intelligence platform within a greenfield Data & AI transformation project. Working in the commodities trading sector, the successful candidate will coordinate multiple engineering teams and manage various stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery from inception through to production, establishing a scalable enterprise data platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery across multiple interconnected projects for a greenfield Data & AI transformation.
- Coordinate multiple engineering teams, suppliers, and consultancies to ensure project alignment.
- Own and manage the integrated project plan, dependencies, RAID, budgets, governance, and scope.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and drive decisions without direct authority.
- Implement strong project governance and financial management practices.
- Ensure successful adoption of the data platform across the organization.
- Oversee the development and deployment of data products and architecture.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing greenfield data platform transformations from inception to production.
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms, data architecture, and data lineage.
- Experience in commodity trading, energy, investment banking, financial services, or fintech.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and dependencies effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without authority.
- Strong project governance and financial management expertise.
