Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a significant ERP transformation project, transitioning from a legacy Dynamics AX system to Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Commerce. In this role, the contractor will collaborate with business and technology teams to shape the delivery plan and ensure efficient implementation while managing stakeholder relations, suppliers, risks, and governance. The position requires a hands-on approach and a proactive attitude to drive the project forward from its inception.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall ERP transformation programme from early stages through implementation.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to develop and refine the delivery plan.
- Oversee stakeholder engagement and manage relationships with suppliers.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
- Establish and enforce governance standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure alignment with organisational objectives and project deliverables.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in project management of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations programmes.
- Proven track record with Dynamics AX migrations to Dynamics 365.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, Commerce, and retail functionalities.
- Strong understanding of ERP transformation processes and challenges.
- Ability to work effectively in a hands-on capacity within a dynamic team environment.
